A Finalist for the 2016 Hiett Prize in the Humanities

8/26/2016

Picture
Much to my surprise and delight, I was informed the other day that I have been selected as one of six finalists for the Hiett Prize in the Humanities in recognition of my work as a poet, critic, and scholar of philosophical-theology and literature.  What an honor to have my efforts to renew the life of the liberal and fine arts in our day seen as worthy of such a distinction; what an honor to stand among such distinguished company.  Click the picture to learn more about the Prize and its sponsor, the Dallas Institute of Humanities and Culture.
