The University Bookman reviews my second book, Timothy Steele: A Critical Introduction, considering the way in which "Steele’s poetry is neither an acceptance nor rejection of modernism, but really a reckoning with modernist poetry."  (Follow this link or click the picture).

An heir to Yvor Winters and Robert Frost, but also a mind of great critical perception and inventiveness, Steele has written poems that are required reading for anyone who cares about poetry as a serious art and our culture as a humanizing enterprise.
